New teams

With Season 2 approaching my thoughts turned to a second team to run. I've gone for Goblins, Da Gobstoppas. So far I have 8 painted up. They are a mix of the new plastics and a couple of old 3rd edition models.

The plan is to pick up a couple of Trolls to add a bit of muscle. Mitch has agreed to do a few 3d prints to give me a few of the special weapons. While I wait for the extra figures to arrive I decided to complete an old human team. They are a mix of 1st, 2nd and 3rd edition figures. I do need to add at least 1 thrower. They are named the Caroburg Chargers.

H'angus The Bull

To try and cover as many options for  my Chaos Chosen team, I picked up another 3d printed minotaur. Instead of using black for the flesh like the Beastmen I went for a dark red.

I also had an idea to create a Chaos Champion and to use the rules in Death Zone to create my own star player. The base of the model is one of the Khorne blockers, removed a few of the spikes amd replaced the head. Just need to think of a suitable name.

As the league slowly draws to a close, 2 more games were completed

Cleaveland Bronze bt Tir na nOg Ravens 1-0

A bruising encounter for the Ravens, as once again they struggled without the ball taking a ton of casualties. The Bronze secured the win and have eyes on a top 4 finish

Gryphon Bloodsox drew LV Raiders 1-1

The Bloodsox are still in search of their first win, throwing away victory in the final turn as the Raiders secured the draw and 3rd place.

Beastman Mutant

Managed to pick up one of the old 3rd edition Beastman mutants that were released. This was the one with extra arm. Painted him up in the colours of the Black Sun Gors

I do believe there was also one released with tentacles but a quick look on EBay shows him to be rather pricey. Will keep an eye out for cheaper alternative.
